On January 6, 2004, Jack Cooper of Castalia, NC passed on. He was usually the first around here to post a scout arrival to the PMCA website. His colony was 75 pairs. Jack let me help him make nest checks, opened his home to me, and shared his knowledge with me. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of Jack, but I do have pictures of his colony site. God speed Jack, may your spirit soar freely with the Purple Martins, Hummingbirds, and all other birds you loved so dearly. I miss you, Jack.
