H & S Starling Trap
This trap is designed specifically to trap Starlings inside of “Troyer's Horizontal Round Hole with Clingplate Gourds”.

Mounting Instructions
Step 1:
Clip shutter to cling plate as shown.
Step 2:
Remove gourd access door and insert striker pin as shown.
Step 3:
Drop shutter into the base track and adjust the rear of striker pin to suit. Raise shutter and move striker pin forward so that shutter sets on top of pin.
Note: To keep from accidentally trapping Martins, use in off-season before arrival date. This trap is best utilized after Starlings have started their nest inside the gourd. They will return and be trapped after which they are accessible thru the gourd access door and thus destroyed.
