My Colony 2006
As of 5/12/06, I have 4 active nests with 21 eggs between the four nests. I have about 20 birds hanging around, of which, 6 are ASY,or adult birds. More info and video to come.
As of 6/1/06, I have 9 active nests. There are 20 babies, and 18 eggs. One of the nest had only 1 egg, so there will be more coming for that nest. One nest was in the process of hatching, 2 were hatched, with 3 eggs left to hatch. There is also 2 other nest, but at this time I don't know if they are active or have been built by subbie males.
This year I ended up with 9 nesting pairs. All were in brown painted natural gourds. The nine pair laid 48 eggs, of which 45 hatched, and all 45 fledged.
