The small double porched crescent adapter is to be used on natural gourds, Supergourds, or mounted to the rear of Natureline gourds. There has been some discussion about expansion and contraction of natural gourds, which would change the dimensions of a crescent cut into a natural gourd. Also, over time, it is possible that the hole may get enlarged from wear and tear. This adapter helps to prevent both of the above possibilities, plus the consumer does not have to worry about ruining a gourd by cutting the crescent to the wrong dimensions. A template is provided so the screw holes and large hole for the porch to fit through can be marked and cut. The adapter is attached by two screws and then caulk is applied to fill the gaps between the adapter and gourd. The porch is grooved to provide traction. The cost of the TW-11 is $4.00 plus S&H.
