TW-21 crescent rain canopy tunnel $7.00
The TW-21 was a collaboration of ideas from Thurman Seber, Bill Darnell, and Linda Reynolds, all from Tennessee. It is a tunnel cut on an angle, with the crescent entrance recessed into the tunnel, and a double width exterior double porch. There is an interior cling rod to help the birds exit the crescent. This tunnel design gives better rain protection and the double width exterior porch allows for both parent birds to be on it at the same time. This tunnel setup does add some extra weight to the front of the gourd, so that needs to be taken into consideration when hanging the gourd. The tunnel is 4 1/2" long, so it also adds more depth to provide better predator protection. The tunnel can be inserted to whatever depth inside the gourd you chose. The tunnel can be used on natural gourds, or Supergourds. The TW-21 sells for $7.00 each plus S&H.
